Following the overwhelming response to their 14-date reunion tour announcement earlier this week, Oasis has added three additional UK dates. The legendary band, fronted by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, confirmed the new dates after an outpouring of fan interest, with many eager to secure tickets.
The reunion tour, initially spanning five cities across the UK and Ireland, quickly caused a frenzy among fans. Hotels in the tour cities began selling out, sparking concerns that tickets for the highly anticipated shows would be hard to come by. In response, Oasis has now scheduled extra performances at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.
This brings the total number of tour dates to 17, with more expected to be announced as part of a global tour. Liam Gallagher, 51, took to social media platform X to share the news, posting: “Due to unprecedented demand, three new UK dates will be added to Oasis Live ’25. Heaton Park – July 16th. Wembley – July 30th. Edinburgh – August 12th.”
Tickets for the reunion tour are set to go on sale on Saturday, August 31, at 9 AM.
The tour marks the first time Oasis will perform live since their breakup following the 2009 V Festival, where tensions between the Gallagher brothers led to the band’s split. After years of speculation and fans pleading for a reunion, the Gallaghers finally made the official announcement on Tuesday, August 27. In a joint statement, they declared: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
The tour is set to kick off at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on July 4 and 5. Oasis will then move on to Manchester for five shows on July 11, 12, 16, 19, and 20. London will follow, with performances on July 25, 26, 30, and August 2 and 3. The band will then head to Edinburgh for concerts on August 8, 9, and 12, before wrapping up the current leg of the tour at Dublin’s Croke Park on August 16 and 17.
Despite heavy speculation from fans, Oasis has confirmed that they will not be headlining Glastonbury 2025 or performing at any other festivals next year. In a statement on Wednesday, August 28, they clarified: “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year. The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”
With the excitement continuing to build, fans around the world are eagerly awaiting further announcements and additional tour dates.
